This event aims to promote diversity by highlighting the positive contribution that the Congolese community can make to Belfast and contribute to a shared future in Northern Ireland. This event, which will also coincide with the anniversary of the Independence of the Democratic Republic of Congo, will showcase the history and culture of the Congolese people through poems, music, dance and songs. This event will conclude with the opportunity for open discussion between the different communities represented which will foster a shared understanding of the Congolese culture.
