Use of the City Hall

This event aims to provide a platform for the Minister and staff of the Department to consider its work over the past twelve months as well as focus on the priorities and opportunities for the next twelve months.

Much of the event will showcase the vibrancy and ambition of Belfast, by specifically focusing on the recent arrival of the Olympic and Para-Olympic torches to Belfast in 2012; the World Police and Fire Games in 2013; and the major capital investment in three Belfast stadia - Casement Park, Ravenhill and Windsor Park.

Due to the intrinsic relationship between these projects and the Council, the Department will be extending invitations to Members of Council and relevant Officers who would find attendance at the event useful.
