Court of University of Ulster

Description

The Court is responsible for appointing the Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellors and the Honorary Treasurer and has the right to receive reports on the working of the University during the previous year from the Vice-Chancellor, together with an audited Statement of Accounts from the Honorary Treasurer. The Court has also the right to discuss any matters relating to the University and to convey its opinions therein to the Council or the Senate. The Court, which meets at least once a year, has some 260 members representative of a wide range of interest throughout Northern Ireland.
